WASHINGTON - Good news if you need to go to the dentist soon. The website WalletHub took a look at the best and worst states when it comes to dental health and it found that most the states in the KXCV/KRNW listening area are in the top half.
Iowa ranked 12th, Nebraska ranked 18th, Kansas came in at 23rd and Missouri was right at 29th.
The website looked at several metrics including dental visits, dentists per capita, dental treatment costs, and bad habits like drinking soda and smoking. The best state for dental health was Wisconsin, while the worst was Mississippi.
